NIKOLAY TOLMACHEV

Nikolay Tolmachev started drawing since his childhood, but never studied professionally. He grew up in a simple Ukrainian family and has a special place in his heart when remembering his grandmothers. From early childhood , when his grandmother read Nicolas a book, in his imagination were born bizarre images. Most of all Nicolas liked history books. Another grandmother encouraged him to draw. Nicolas loved to paint the natural world and animals. He also did a lot of clay modeling.

He was always inspired by artists such as Sandro Boatichelli , Giovanni Battista Tiepolo , Antoine Watteau, and painting of the XVIII - XIX centuries. As well as Gustav Klimt and Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. His own creativity develops in leaps depending on what he finds inspirational at that moment.
